BRIGHTENDASH is the debut album by Abhishek Hazarika, planned for release in 2023 comprising 10 tracks. This album is a mix of songs from different genres of Rock music and 7 of them have been released. All songs have been written, composed, sung, arranged by Abhishek who has played the Rhythm Guitars. The songs also feature producer Paras Khanna who has played bass & drums on all tracks. Two of the tracks, “Go Home Peter” & “Blues Fan” feature ALN Lemtor, acclaimed blues guitarist from Nagaland, on lead guitar. All songs have been recorded, mixed & mastered in Hourglass Studios, Noida by Paras Khanna. His music is out on all major streaming platforms.
About Abhishek Hazarika
Abhishek Hazarika was born in New Delhi and currently residing in Noida. Considering himself to be a Rock Purist his musical story actually began in 1996 at the age of 8 when he started to learn Hindustani Classical Music. By 2005, he had completed his Sangeet Visharad, attaining a BA in Hindustani Classical Music, Vocals. His next pursuit of music was to learn the guitar, which he picked up at the Noida School of Rock from 2006 to 2012 during his college years, where he learned to play the acoustic and electric guitar. From 2008 to 2012, he was active in college competitions and local gigs. His major influences are a mix of Classic Rock, Alternative & Grunge Rock bands including The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Grand Funk Railroad, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Soundgarden , Oasis, The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Tool, Rage Against The Machine & Collective Soul. He is currently releasing his debut album. As a songwriter, he writes songs based on personal experiences and events which impact society. This 34 yr old works a corporate job to keep his Rock Music going!
