Mumbai, 2nd November 2022: Love isn’t anything less than a fairy-tale and on the subject of that, there’s constantly a twist. Nothing comes easy as you to grind your way up to impress a girl! This is the basic premise behind “Tanne Taadu”, latest release by Atrangi Funkaar, a band based out of Jaipur.

With scorching chemistry among the smitten man and the hard-to-get lady synonymous with synergy of the beats of “Tanne Taadu” with Atrangi Funkaar, this track is positive to take you through the lanes of ardor, love and adoration.
Talking about the song the band said, “ ‘Tanne Taadu’ is a bilingual song covering both Marwadi and Hindi. The song has a lot of folk sounds like the Bhapang, Rajasthani choir backing vocal section and a Vocal Rhythm Addition that imitates the Folk Rhythm of Rajasthan”.
Talking further about the production of the song they said, “The production ideas of the song add a traditional and ethnic vibe to a pop track making it one of its kind. Amidst all the pop guitars and drums, we have a section that includes 808 and synth bass adding a hip hop vibe too. Overall, by adding and subtracting so many different Instrumental sections, we make this song actually ATRANGI”.
The song is produced by Akshay Agarwal at Jam Street Studios. It’s been Mixed and Mastered by Abhishek Gautam.
About the band
Starting as a duo collaboration between Ruhaan (Rapper) and Param (Vocals), Atrangi Funkaar – a 5 member Indie Pop/Rock band came into origin in 2018 with Avnesh (Bass Guitar), Doleshwar Raj (Lead Guitar) and Bhuppi (Drums) joining in.
With relatable life issues taking the front seat as the theme of their songs, the band believes in creating mindful music that sways both the mind and heart of it’s audience.
Oscillating and experimenting between the genres of Pop, Rap n Rock against a framework of Hip Hop, the members of the band come in from various walks of life excelling in the various niches of music and together creating melodies that are unconventional and out-of-the-box.
2021 marked the launch of their track – “Uncle Ji” which was a call out to the judgmental norms of the society we live in. The band continues to target such practices that tarnish the world, which also resulted in them winning IFP Golden Track of the Year and creating their next release “Kho Gayi” which proved to be another hit.
The troupe has shared the stage with artists like Jubin Nautiyal, Ankur Tewari, The Yellow Diary, Dream Note and so on.
