Following the success of his track ‘The World Is Mine’, Aiden Aziz AKA Mischief is set to drop his next single ‘Blue Pills’ on September 25th. Known for blending trap-hip hop with dark, atmospheric elements, Mischief is carving out his unique space in the rap game. In this exclusive interview, we dive into his new music, creative process, and the message behind his art.
Tell us about your upcoming track ‘Blue Pills’ releasing on 25th September?
My upcoming track, dropping on September 25th, is all about creating a vibe that pulls you into a different world. It’s a blend of hard-hitting beats and euphoric melodies, where the energy is high, but the emotions run deep. This track is designed to give listeners that rollercoaster feeling, taking them through the highs and lows while keeping them locked into the experience.
‘The World Is Mine’ has already gained a lot of traction. How does this track set the tone for your upcoming tracks, and what can listeners expect in terms of theme and sound?
‘The World Is Mine’ is just the beginning—it sets the foundation for the next wave of music I’m about to release. The track embodies that aggressive hunger, but my other songs balance it with an atmospheric, cinematic vibe not often heard here. It’s something new and distinct. Going forward, you can expect that same raw energy, but with even more depth and emotion. I’m blending dark, cinematic elements with melodic hooks that stick with you long after the song ends.

Your music blends trap-hip hop with melodic and dark atmospheric elements. How do you strike a balance between aggression and emotions in your songs?
It’s all about feeling the music on a deeper level. I pour my emotions into the melodies, and that gives my sometimes aggressive rhymes a softness to balance it out. I’m going for vibes. I’m just trying something different. There’s more meaning with the change of flow. It’s like a push and pull—one moment you’re caught up in the intensity, the next you’re floating through a space where the emotions and substances take over. My goal is to take you on a journey in each track, where the aggression drives the story, and the melodies let you feel it in your soul.
Can you describe your upcoming tracks in detail and what can the listeners expect from them?
My upcoming tracks are a mix of trap beats, heavy bass, and those euphoric, atmospheric sounds I’m going for. Expect to hear a lot of contrast—moments where the energy hits hard followed by spaces where you can lose yourself in the melody. I’m pushing boundaries with sound, using dark, cinematic elements to create a vibe that’s both intense and introspective, yet cocky and defiant—like me, I guess. Listeners can expect tracks that make them feel both powerful and reflective at the same time.
You’ve mentioned dealing with betrayal and inner demons in your music. How has channelling these experiences into your art impacted your personal growth?
Channelling my experiences into my music has been a form of therapy. It’s helped me process the pain and turn it into something powerful. Every track is a reflection of my journey, and through it, I’ve learned to embrace my struggles rather than run from them. It’s made me harder and more focused on what I want to say with my music. I’m not just telling my story; I’m using it to connect with others who might be going through the same thing.

What challenges did you face while producing music in general, and how did you overcome them to bring your vision to life?
One of the biggest challenges was staying true to my vision while experimenting with new sounds. It’s easy to get lost in the noise, but I had to trust my instincts and keep pushing until I found the right balance. Overcoming these challenges took time and a lot of patience, but it was worth it. I stayed focused on the end goal, which was to create something that felt authentic to me, and that’s what kept me going.
Tell us a bit about your musical journey. How it started, and what are your future aspirations?
My musical journey started with an addiction to hip hop and clever wordplay, and a desire to bring something new to the table. I’ve always been drawn to sounds that make you feel something. It doesn’t have to be deep or philosophical—I’m not trying to put people to sleep. I want to make music that makes you feel like you’re “the shit” and there’s no one better. If people think otherwise, then “f**k ’em.” That’s my mantra. As for the future, I’m focused on continuing to evolve and push boundaries with my sound. My goal is to leave a lasting impact on the industry, not just with my music but with the vibe and energy I bring to it.
As a new voice in the rap game, what message do you want your listeners to take away from your music?
There’s no message as such, but I will say—even if things don’t go your way, but you know what you’re doing is right and good for you, do it anyway. So, f**k the naysayers and doubters, and be the best. You only live once, so do what you want, say what you feel, and just make sure you have good taste in music, so you pay attention to mine! Haha. Well, that’s that and what we know is an artist who is bound to create ripples in the times to come!
