Mumbai, 23rd September 2024: “Aria”, the new single by Cicco Sanchez, is available now from Friday, September 20, on radio and all digital platforms through Ada Music (Warner Music Italy). After surpassing 80 million streams with his songs and achieving Gold Certification from FIMI with “Girasole,” Cicco Sanchez returns with a new single just months after the release of “Il Mio Miglior Nemico” featuring Loomy.
“Aria” is a romantic and poignant acoustic ballad, filled with nostalgia that becomes the only lifeline for surviving the loss of love—the only way to relive it in the absence of that person: (I’ll go crazy while the world falls apart and I try to piece it back together / But I just want to hide like dust does / Hours and hours of standing still / Even if I feel my heart explode / What have you done to me? / But I like it so much and I won’t stop). The combination of voice and guitar captures the feeling of longing and invisible connection, highlighting the strong meaning of simplicity and small gestures that evoke that love.

Cicco Sanchez is an urban pop artist and songwriter. Born and raised in Turin, he began writing in his bedroom at age 14, creating his first productions and finding an escape from a complicated family reality through songwriting. In recent years, his songs have collectively surpassed 80 million streams and earned Gold Certification from FIMI for the single “Girasole,” produced by JVLI. Happysad is his world: an imaginary place where different people gather with a shared state of mind. Emotional redemption is his “raison d’être,” and love is always the starting point, never the destination.
In September 2021, he released the single “Poster,” produced by Michelangelo, followed by the EP “Nostalgia Liquida.” Alongside his own projects, Cicco Sanchez has also contributed as a songwriter to over 20 certified Platinum records by FIMI, further proving his already recognized lyrical and artistic talents. His unique and profound vision quickly captures the attention of other artists, leading to collaborations with Fred De Palma, Casadilego, and Axos. In 2020, he joined the MZ Management roster, and in 2022, he performed live for the first time, selling out the Rock’n’Roll in Milan, along with two concerts at Off Topic in Turin and Monk in Rome.
