Hitesh Rikki Madan’s ‘Dil Mera Kho Gaya’ will get you hooked from the start!
Mumbai, 7th February 2023: A song that starts with a soothing acoustic guitar, hooks you up right from the word go. Hitesh Rikki Madan’s new single “Dil Mera Kho Gaya” is a track that is relatable and enjoyable at all levels. With Valentine’s Day on the heels, the track is already a crowd favourite clocking almost 700k views on YouTube as an indie release. This love song is one for many Valentines to come!

Talking about the song Hitesh Says, “ ‘Dil Mera Kho Gaya’ is a romantic song that lulls one into a moment of comfort and stillness in an otherwise noisy world. Attempting to explore a new sound, this composition was stripped down to baritone vocals & acoustic guitar arrangement, which best brings out the emotion in this love poem”. As you listen more, the song naturally unwraps feel-good sensations that come rushing when one falls in love. The song has been mastered by multi-Grammy award-winning audio engineer Andres Mayo, mastering since 1992 with credits on more than 3,000 albums to date.
The music video directed by Vishesh Verma is much endearing across all ages. This is Vishesh’s third collaboration with Hitesh and the two of them have established a great camaraderie over the years. Sachin Gadankush is the director of photography, lending his genius yet again after the incredible work in Gal Sunn Zara.
After 25 years in the industry (Euphoria/Eka), Hitesh started out as a singer-songwriter in 2020 while also continuing to be a part of Eka. Three of his releases have won multiple awards; two from 2021 won at The Clef Music Awards 2021 – Gal Sunn Zara, for the Best Music Composer, Best Music Producer and Best Solo Performance in a Music Video and Break Ke Baadfor the Best Song Video Director award. The following year, Aao Naa won two awards, Rock- Best Artist & Music Composer of the Year, at The Clef Music Awards 2022.
Hitesh Rikki Madan is a Delhi based singer, songwriter, composer, performer, guitarist, music producer and music educator, the founder/frontman of EKA, a Delhi based Award Winning Swatantra Rock Band and his new solo venture – HRM. He has also founded Aria The Music School, the first school in West Delhi to offer formal teaching & learning of music.
It was during the lockdown in March 2020 that Hitesh started performing with his sons, starting with Balcony Concerts which were greatly appreciated and went viral too. Over the last year, the trio have become popular and have performed at several virtual events for schools, corporates and NGOs.
Hitesh is currently working on releasing his debut album as a solo artist, to be released as singles over a period of time. Dil Mera Kho Gaya is his 5th single release.
Vishesh Verma is a Mumbai-based fashion and advertising photographer. He also directs fashion films and TV commercials that are a direct extension of his unique photographic vision.
Sachin Gadankush graduated from Film and Television Institute of India (FTII – Pune) with specialization in cinematography. He has been shooting commercials, web series, music videos, and more.
