Mumbai, 25th June, 2021: Rahul Shah, a Mumbai based singer-songwriter is set to give you hope with an acoustic version of his song Roshni on 3rd July 2021. Rahul has been singing since childhood where he used to imitate singers like KL Saigal, listen to ghazals by Jagjit Singh, Ghulam Ali, and several other artists because of his father’s deep interest in Urdu. Music has always helped him to develop the calmness in his personality and kept him sane around the fast-paced Mumbai city life. He started learning Hindustani classical vocals from Pt. Murli Manohar Shukla believes that classical music has taught him a lot about
the basics of song composition.
Songwriting came to him naturally in 2017 after writing a song with two of his friends and putting out his first single Barse Naina on all streaming platforms in June 2020. He loves to tell his own stories of hope, love, emotions, and togetherness through his songs. His songs speak about the feelings of a common person. He feels that writing your own stories in any form can give you a
sense of liberation. His songs are very personal and he believes that the simplicity of thought behind them makes them what they are. He finds peace by creating music and singing. Produced by Saurabh Das, his single Roshni – Acoustic comes out on 3rd July 2021 and focuses on the positive side of life especially during dark times. Roshni speaks about how we can steer through any situation that we face in our lives with a little ray of hope. It’s like a conversation between a person and their inner voices that always wish the best for them and keep them intact even though the situation is not in their favor at that time. It also speaks about
self-love and how you can be there to pick yourself up from a dark place and move towards something you believe in. It is a simple song with a catchy hook and a symphonic melody that gives you an upbeat vibe and a beautiful start to your day. It is also like a warm hug for you on a tough day.
This song will be released with a video on YouTube made by Harashita.
