Shashaa Tirupati starts 2022 with a fresh new English single, “In My Skin”!

Mumbai, 5^th January 2022: Shashaa is a National Award winning vocalist, songwriter and performer whose versatility over an array of thirteen vernaculars has been recognized by several acclaimed composers across various music industries. She has always made sure to be active with her Indie releases and this time around she plans to go global. Yes you heard it right! Singer-Songwriter Shashaa Tirupati recently released the first single “In My Skin” from her debut English EP “I am sorry heart” and to start it off she is all set to release her first single “In My Skin”. This song also features Keba Jeremiah on guitars.

About the song she says, “There’s no limiting the passion and extent of intimacy that can be lived within the realms of the mind. ‘In My Skin’ shyly exclaims, with the help of seductively intertwining layers of vocal harmonies in tandem with unpredictable playfulness on the acoustic guitar, how even the masked intensity of sheer musing towards someone clueless, has the capacity to stir up what had grown dormant, immeasurably jolting the senses to life. Embracing THAT moment, logic aside, is the dogma of ‘In My Skin’. The momentum created by Keba’s dynamically changing, pulsating, almost teasing patterns are synonymous to a racing heartbeat, etching towards a climactic pique at the onset of the Chorus and eventually settling down to a rather poignant calm”.

Raised in Vancouver, Shashaa shot to fame with Bollywood hits such as The Humma Song, Kanha, Khulke Jeene Ka and Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahunga. With over 200 songs to her credit as a singer / songwriter, Shashaa is currently working on multiple independent music projects and collaborations. Her maiden EP titled “I’m Sorry, Heart”, due for release in January 2022, features celebrated guitarist Keba Jeremiah. Her second EP, “Stitched” comprises songs written, sung and produced by her.
