‘Uriye’, composed by Rishi Kumar sung by Gowri T.P. marks Tamil debut for the composer

Mumbai, 29^th April 2023: Teenage rising artist and indie artist Rishi Kumar has recently dropped his debut Tamil track called ‘Uriye’. The song is composed by Rishi Kumar and sung by the melodious Gowri T.P. After releasing a series of Hindi singles in the past this will be Rishi’s first Tamil track.

Speaking about the track Rishi says, “Uriye is an upbeat and smooth track, led by a sensuous saxophone riff, revolving around one falling in love (kaadhal), embracing true love, with flowing, uplifting melodies beautifully and diligently sung by Gowri TP, accompanied by refreshing beats and piano led chord progressions”.

While his instrumentals are extremely successful on Spotify and YouTube and some of the Indian labels have signed him up for releasing some of their instrumental covers, he wants to focus on producing originals which are appreciated and loved by listeners across the world. As his tag line in his profile says – Creating music for your ears and mind.

Some of his popular tracks are Tum, I6shq Hai, Baadalon Mein Ghar, Yaad and Mere Ho Tum.  Rishi Kumar very recently released a single called “Dil Ho Tum”. The track is sung beautifully by singer Hansika Pareek and the lyrics are penned by Anurag Mishra. Anurag Mishra has previously worked on some projects like Rocketry – The Nambi Effect, “Annabelle Sethupathi”; Kartik’s “Karma Strikes”.
