Mumbai, 16th November 2023: Davide Lo Surdo, born on July 24, 1999, in Rome, is an Italian guitarist who has left an indelible mark on the history of music as the fastest guitarist ever!
His signature guitar, the “DLS1,” has been permanently conferred to the “Sigal” Museum of Music in the United States, where instruments of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Fryderyk Chopin are also preserved.
Lo Surdo is featured in the music history book “Rock Memories 2” by Maurizio Baiata, alongside legends like the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix. He was awarded at the Sanremo Music Awards in Venice, Italy as the fastest guitarist of all time. Various prominent media outlets have acknowledged him as the fastest guitarist in history, with some featuring him on the cover of their July 2021 edition during his Latin American tour.
Lo Surdo discovered his passion for playing the guitar at the tender age of 9. Inspired by his neighbour, he began taking guitar lessons from a priest in a local church in Rome. At the age of 13, he held his first “big” concert at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome. On November 20, 2021, Lo Surdo performed at the “Rolling Stone Music & Run” event, celebrating the 15th anniversary of Rolling Stone Magazine in Brazil, at the “Sambódromo do Anhembi” arena in São Paulo.
